Dvd14. Willow by the Stream. This one looks at the underlying structure of the tree. Painted in April, with just a hint of new spring growth. It also looks at reflections in water.
Dvd 15. Footbridge in Beresford Dale. Again a typical Derbyshire scene, simplified to help you get to the main challenges of the subject like the structure of the footbridge and the rushing water.
Dvd16. Pike’s Pool. A well known Derbyshire landmark that presents us with a few new challenges, like capturing that feeling of distance, and once again reflections in water.
Dvd 17. Rustic Ruin. Good use of light, colour and shadow in this subject. Learn the importance of suggesting the detail of the weathered stonework and how the play of light and shade can be used to make it appear three dimensional.
